A thousand lonely mountains have I climbed,
Fighting 'gainst gails and storms, trudging through snow,
With faith that one day I'll touch my rainbow;
Day in, day out, pain on pain has piled.
A million Moonless nights have gone by,
In warm hopes of new Sunrise,
Days of happy memories to prize;
In darkness are lost my senseless sighs.
Cycles of rebirths come and go,
Awaiting release of eternal life,
Awakening into world without strife;
No more paths to walk, nor lamps to glow .
