Life's Journey

A thousand lonely mountains have I climbed,

Fighting 'gainst gails and storms, trudging through snow,

With faith that one day I'll touch my rainbow;

Day in, day out, pain on pain has piled.

A million Moonless nights have gone by,

In warm hopes of new Sunrise,

Days of happy memories to prize;

In darkness are lost my senseless sighs.

Cycles of rebirths come and go,

Awaiting release of eternal life,

Awakening into world without strife;

No more paths to walk, nor lamps to glow .

Many lives

Many lives I have lived in a lifetime.

A spectrum of hues,

On sifting sands, sitting by seasides,

My hands ever empty,

Unable to hold passing moments,

Unwilling to let each moment pass,

As Karna I stand on my battlefield,

Robbed of armour,

Tricked by Destiny,

Yet, I stand unbowed,

Awaiting a death,

Glorious in its ferocity.

Walking into Moonlight

Friend, let us take a walk
From shadows into moonlight,
On our way we'll shed our grief,
Some burdens we will slight.

If, by chance, more troubles come
Pouring down like rain,
We'll not run from post to post
Nor hearth nor dale avail;
Though primrose vales we may not find,
In our hearts we'll shelter gain.
Our feet will bleed, I know
While uphill we stride as one,
Yet together let's take the vow
To walk on till journey's done.
