Tied and Released

Today I wrapped my arms around dream
My nano seconds ticked by
Today I placed my head on pulsing life
And entered a grave to say goodbye
Today the sun slid through my heart
And wormed its way into mass of pain
Time regressed as I travelled into womb
To float in brine free once more, release
To soar or dive, high or low
No longer tied to tree.
