New Habitat

Let me pour out my heart

A heart shredded and broken

A heart that survived

Day after day

Without Love

That counts

Going on for years

Living a lonely life

With a smile

That counts

And as I live on

I leave behind

My dying heart

Traveling

To a heartless world

I learn to live

In my black hole

Sucking in pain

A yet barren womb

Full of restrained energy

Waiting

To burst forth in glory

Creating  new habitat

For broken hearts

For new starts.
