Invisible

Don't see tears as they flow
They are too meager for you to know
They're Summer rain that bring no gain
Evening light and it's temporary glow.

Don't see smiles as they fly
Ephemeral as clouds in skies
Falling to ground as droplets around
To sink into depth without a sigh.

Don't see hearts when they bleed
As you meander in meadow and mead
Hide that pain in shadows and lanes
While bright sunlight supersedes.

Close your eyes and close your worlds
There is no time, you're in a whirl
Like a well wound cloak go tick tick
Unstrung each precious pearl.
