Challenge to Adversity

I'll be happy, do what you will
I'll be happy despite ills
As raindrops fall, as clouds growl
Blossoms still bloom, they never scowl
My smiles are rainbows in tear washed skies
My joys come to answer perfidy.

I'll live, though you tell me to die
I'll laugh, though you make me cry
As hot winds blow, as noons lay bear
Fruits still ripen, they don't stand scared
My strengths are mountains standing high
My will has wings to make me fly.
