To A Love Gone Sour

I can live my life without your tenderness
My desert days can sprout new leaves afresh
Without your tenderness.

I can keep my smile without your closeness
My fractured soul can heal with own caress
Without your closeness

I can join the heart you have cut in two
New ventures take, make them act as glue
Repair my heart cut in two

One day you will come back to find
I have left your bleeding path behind
You will come back to find

Coz empty spaces can never empty stay
They realign to stop disarray
They never empty stay

So, sleep on, sleep on for all your days
My life will find its path, find a way
Sleep on all your days

My heart may ache, a part of me shut down
In circus of this world, I'll still be clown
In smiles, my tears drown

Erstwhile love once held close to heart and sweet
Now turned sour as grapes out of reach
I have learnt lessons they teach.
